Bobz Bikez is a motorcycle service & repair shop in Taneyville, Missouri. This policy covers this website and the way we handle information you give us about you and your bike. Questions go to (417) 243-0069.

When you send a repair request, we collect:

• Your name and phone number, and your email if you give us one.
• Your bike, year, make, model, and anything else you tell us about it, including mileage and VIN once it is in the shop.
• What you told us is wrong with it, and any photos you send.
• Whether you told us you have a military ID, so we can apply the discount.

If we work on your bike, we also keep a record of the job: what was done, what parts went on, and what it cost. That is your service history, and it is the reason we can tell you in three years when your fork oil was last changed.

We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not run analytics that follow you around other websites.

To quote your repair, do the work, get hold of you about your bike, and keep a record of what we did to it. That is the whole list. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to advertise to you.

We will call you about your bike. If you give us permission, we may also text you, about your appointment, when the bike is ready, and to approve extra work if we find something once it is apart.

• You have to opt in first. We do not text customers who have not agreed to it. Agreeing is never a condition of getting your bike fixed.
• Message frequency varies, it depends on what is happening with your repair. Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or just call or text the shop.
• If you stop texts, we will still call you about your bike, because we have to be able to reach you about work in progress.

We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number or your mobile opt-in with anybody for their marketing. Ever. No third party gets that information for their own purposes.

We use a small number of service providers to actually run the shop: the company that hosts this website, the company that stores the database, and the services that send our email and text messages. They only handle your information in order to do that job for us.

We may have to share information if the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim, such as an unpaid bill or a bike left behind.

Service records stay on file for as long as we are in business, because that history is genuinely useful to whoever owns the bike next and is needed for warranty and tax purposes. If you asked us for a quote and never brought the bike in, we clear that out after about a year.

If you have an account with us, we set a cookie so you stay signed in. That is what it is for. We do not use advertising cookies.

Call the shop and we will tell you what we have on file, correct anything that is wrong, or delete what we are not legally required to keep. We are not going to make you fill in a form to do it.

This site is not meant for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

If this changes, the date at the top changes with it.
